Frequently Asked Questions

Can I test a bike before buying it?

Yes. Bikes available in our showroom can be test ridden so that you can compare different models, sizes and riding positions.

For Gazelle bikes, the brand also has a test centre in Rumst, where you can discover a wider selection of models.

How do I know which bike size I need?

The right size depends on your body shape, riding position and the type of bike. Thanks to the number of models and sizes available in our showroom, we can usually determine quite quickly which size suits you best.

Whenever possible, we always recommend a test ride.

Availability is shown directly on the bike’s product page, below its description.

The availability is directly stated on the bike product page, below the description.

If the model you are looking for is not available, please contact us. In most cases, we can order it from the manufacturer.

How long does it take when a bike has to be ordered?

We can provide you with an estimated delivery time when the order is placed. Manufacturers provide us with estimated delivery dates, however, and these may change.

For a bike ordered specifically from a supplier, the delivery time communicated therefore always remains indicative.

Can I reserve a bike?

Yes. We can put a bike aside for you free of charge for two weeks.

If another customer is interested in the same bike during this period, we will contact you before making the bike available again.

Pour une réservation plus longue, nous pouvons établir un bon de commande avec acompte. Il s’agit alors d’un engagement d’achat.

Which payment methods do you accept?

In store, you can pay by Bancontact, debit and credit cards including Visa, cash, bank transfer or eco vouchers.

We also offer payment in instalments through Alma, as well as several bike leasing solutions.

Can I pay for my bike with eco vouchers?

Yes. You can use your eco vouchers for purchases at Supercycles.

We accept Monizze, Pluxee and Edenred eco vouchers.

Can I pay for my bike in instalments?

Yes. With Alma, purchases between €50 and €5,000 can be paid in 2 or 3 instalments.

For transactions of more than €1,000, identity verification is required and we must scan the customer's ID card.

Can I purchase my bike through a leasing scheme?

Yes. We work with several bike leasing companies and can assist you throughout the process, from choosing your bike and accessories to preparing the quotation and delivering the bike.

If your employer works with a leasing company that is not listed among our usual partners, please contact us so that we can check the available options.

Can you install accessories on my new bike?

Of course. Accessories purchased together with your bike can be installed by our workshop before delivery.

Accessory installation at the time of purchasing the bike is carried out free of charge by our team.

Is a first service included after purchase?

Yes. For bikes purchased directly from Supercycles, excluding leasing bikes, the first service is free of charge.

It must be carried out within 3 months of purchase or before the first 500 kilometres. The 3-month period remains the maximum limit: even if you have only ridden 200 km after 3 months, we still recommend having the service carried out.

For leasing bikes, this first service is not included free of charge, but we strongly recommend scheduling one.

Can I have my bike serviced at Supercycles after purchase?

Yes. Our workshop provides maintenance, repairs and technical support for your bike after purchase.

We also accept bikes purchased elsewhere, subject to our workshop acceptance conditions. For reasons relating to safety, compatibility, the general condition of the bike or the availability of spare parts, certain repairs or interventions may be refused.

How does the warranty on my bike work?

New bikes sold by Supercycles are covered by the 2-year statutory conformity guarantee.

In addition, some manufacturers offer a longer warranty on the frame. The duration and conditions of this warranty vary depending on the brand and, in some cases, the model. We therefore recommend checking the manufacturer’s website or asking us directly in store.

If you experience a problem that may be covered by the warranty, please contact us. We will inspect the bike and, where necessary, handle the procedure with the relevant manufacturer or supplier.

The warranty does not cover, among other things, normal wear and tear, damage resulting from an accident, improper use, insufficient maintenance or certain modifications or repairs carried out by third parties.

Do you deliver bikes to customers’ homes?

Bikes are normally collected from our store, where we can also carry out the final adjustments with you and explain how the bike works.

In exceptional cases, delivery can be arranged upon request when our logistics allow it.

Do you take back my old bike?

Yes, for electric bikes. We can offer a trade-in solution through our partner Upway.

Whether your bike qualifies for trade-in and the amount offered depend on the bike concerned.
