Gazelle
Dutch bicycle comfort since 1892.

At Gazelle, comfort, ease of use and a high-quality finish are at the heart of every bike. Since 1892, the Dutch brand has been developing bicycles for everyday journeys and relaxed rides. Whether you choose a Gazelle electric bike or a city bike without assistance, the focus remains the same: enjoyable cycling, from your daily commute to a weekend ride.
At Supercycles in Alsemberg, on the border with Sint-Genesius-Rode, we help you choose a Gazelle that suits your needs. Discover what the brand stands for, view our bikes in stock, and experience a test ride to find the position and support that feels comfortable to you.

Why choose Gazelle?
You choose a bike based on the rides you want to make. At Gazelle, a great deal of attention is given to your riding position, ease of use and the way the different components come together in a well-finished whole.
Dutch cycling tradition since 1892
Gazelle was founded in 1892 and has been connected to Dieren in the Netherlands for generations. In 1992, on the occasion of its centenary, the brand was granted the Royal designation. The name “Koninklijke Gazelle” refers to this recognition and to the company’s history.
According to its parent company Pon.Bike, Gazelle is the market leader in the Netherlands. For many years, the brand has focused on everyday journeys and relaxed bike rides, today both with and without electric assistance.
In Dieren, this attention to finish is reflected directly in the manufacturing process. Frames, forks and rear racks receive four coats of paint. In the testing laboratory, Gazelle examines, among other things, how materials react to salt water and UV light. This allows the brand to take into account the conditions a bike is exposed to during everyday use.
Supercycles’ vision
At Supercycles, we appreciate Gazelle for the way the brand designs bikes for everyday use. The riding position, ease of mounting, equipment and finish come together to create a bike that encourages regular riding.
Gazelle has a strong place in our range for riders looking for a comfortable, well-equipped city bike for commuting, shopping and relaxed rides. Depending on your preference, the different models offer a more relaxed or a more active riding position.
In our region, we also pay attention to how the bike performs on hills. Around Alsemberg and Beersel, the assistance and gearing need to suit your pedalling style, your routes and what you carry.
We recommend paying as much attention to the riding feel as to the technical specifications. Getting on easily, setting off, manoeuvring at low speed and stopping all matter in everyday use. During a test ride, you can experience this for yourself and find out which Gazelle feels truly comfortable for you.

FAQ?
Can I test a Gazelle bike at Supercycles?
A test ride is possible depending on the models and sizes available. Contact us before your visit so we can arrange which bike you would like to try.
When making your request, please mention your height, intended use and, if applicable, the model you are interested in. This allows us to check more precisely which bike is available for your test ride.
Which battery do I need?
This depends on the distances you ride, the terrain, the selected assistance level and the possibilities to recharge along the way. The weight you carry, headwinds and tyre pressure also affect the range.
We help you choose a battery capacity that suits your rides and is available for the model you want.
Does Gazelle only make electric bicycles?
No. Gazelle also offers bikes without electric assistance. A Gazelle city bike can therefore also be a good choice for riders who prefer to cycle without a motor or battery. Together, we can check which models, sizes and colours are available.
Can I buy a Gazelle through bike leasing?
Yes, depending on the conditions set by your employer and the relevant leasing company. Supercycles helps you prepare a quotation for the bike and suitable accessories, and supports you through to delivery.
What warranty does Gazelle offer?
Gazelle states a ten year manufacturer’s warranty against material and manufacturing defects on the frame and rigid fork. Suspension forks and the paintwork on the frame and fork are covered for five years, while other components are generally covered for two years.
An exception applies for the frames of the Makki and Cabby: a maximum of five years. Warranty conditions of Gazelle, The requirements for normal use and maintenance remain applicable. This factory warranty does not affect your statutory warranty.
