2. Products

These conditions apply to the sale of bicycles, electric bicycles, cargo bikes, longtails, speed pedelecs, accessories, spare parts, equipment and workshop services.

3. Prices

The prices indicated on the order form are expressed including VAT unless otherwise stated.
Accessories permanently installed are considered included in the total price.

4. Order and deposit

The order becomes final upon signature of the order form and, where applicable, payment of a deposit.
In the event of cancellation by the buyer, Supercycles may retain the deposit or claim compensation of up to 15% of the sale price.

5. Bicycle ordered from a supplier

Certain bicycles are specifically ordered from a supplier at the buyer’s request.
In this case, the order is binding and delivery times are indicative and dependent on the manufacturer.

6. Delivery and collection

The buyer is informed when the product is available.
The bicycle must be collected within 14 days after notification.
After this period, storage fees of €5 excluding VAT per day may be applied.

7. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed, payment must be made at the time of delivery or collection of the product.

8. Retention of ownership

The products remain the property of Supercycles until full payment of the price has been made.

9. Warranty

New products benefit from the legal conformity warranty of 2 years in accordance with Belgian legislation.
Second-hand products may benefit from a 1-year warranty unless otherwise stated.

The warranty does not cover:

• normal wear of wear parts

• improper use

• lack of maintenance

• damage resulting from an accident

• modifications carried out by a third party.

The following are notably considered wear parts:

• tires and inner tubes

• brake pads and brake discs

• chain, cassette and chainring

• drive belt

• cables and cable housings

• bearings

• grips and pedals

• battery whose capacity decreases over time and with use.

10. Workshop and repairs

When a bicycle is entrusted for repair or maintenance, the buyer is informed when it is ready.
The bicycle must be collected within 14 days after notification.
Beyond this period, storage fees of €5 excluding VAT per day may be applied.

11. Leasing and financing

In the event of purchase through a leasing or financing contract, the conditions of the financial service provider apply.
The bicycle may remain the property of the leasing company according to the signed contract.

12. Force majeure

Supercycles cannot be held responsible for delays resulting from force majeure (supply problems, transport issues, strikes, etc.).

13. Disputes

The parties will first seek an amicable solution.
Failing that, the competent courts will be those within the jurisdiction of the registered office of Supercycles, unless otherwise provided by law.

14. Data protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR.
