Products

These terms and conditions apply to the sale of bicycles, electric bicycles, cargo bikes, longtails, speed pedelecs, accessories, parts, equipment and workshop services.

3. Prices

The prices shown on the order form are expressed inclusive of VAT, unless otherwise stated.
Fitted accessories are deemed to be included in the total price.

4. Order and deposit

The order will be final upon signing of the order form and, where applicable, after payment of a deposit.
In the event of cancellation by the buyer, Supercycles may retain the deposit or claim compensation of up to 15% of the sale price.

5. Bicycle ordered from a supplier

Some bicycles are specifically ordered from a supplier at the explicit request of the buyer.
In that case, the order is binding and the delivery times are indicative and dependent on the manufacturer.

6. Delivery and collection

The buyer will be notified when the product becomes available.
The bicycle must be collected within 14 days of notification.
After this period, storage costs of €5 excluding VAT per day may be charged.

7. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed, payment must be made on delivery or upon collection of the product.

8. Retention of title

The producten units supplied remain the property of Supercycles until the price due has been paid in full.

9. Guarantee

New producten units are covered by a 2-year statutory guarantee in accordance with Belgian law.
Second-hand producten products come with a 1-year warranty, unless otherwise stated.

The warranty does not cover:

  • normal wear and tear of wearing parts

  • Misuse or improper use

  • Lack of maintenance

  • damage as a result of an accident

  • Modifications or repairs carried out by third parties.

Are considered to be wear parts, among others:

  • tyres and inner tubes

  • Brake pads and brake discs

  • Chain, cassette and chainring

  • Drive belt

  • Cables and cable sleeves

  • Lagers

  • handles and pedals

  • The battery whose capacity reduces through time and use.

10. Workshop and repairs

When a bicycle is entrusted for repair or maintenance, the buyer will be notified when it is ready.
The bicycle must be collected within 14 days of notification.
After this period, storage costs of €5 excluding VAT per day may be charged.

11. Leasing and financing

In case of purchase via a leasing or financing contract, the terms and conditions of the financial service provider concerned shall apply.
The bicycle may remain the property of the leasing company in accordance with the signed agreement.

12. Force majeure

Supercycles cannot be held liable for delays caused by force majeure (supply problems, transport problems, strikes, etc.).

13. Disputes

The parties shall initially attempt to reach an amicable settlement.
In the absence of this, the courts of the district of Supercycles' registered office shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless otherwise provided by law.

14. Data Protection

Personal data will be processed in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR.
